Starbucks Barista Has Meltdown Over the Unicorn Frappuccino: ‘Please Don’t Get It’

A Starbucks barista took to Twitter on Thursday to discourage customers from ordering the Unicorn Frappuccino, a vibrant new beverage at Starbucks.

The drink, an pleasing purple and blue espresso drink that turns pink when you stir it, caused an Instagram craze and gained mixed evaluations for its flavor. Braden Burson, a barista from Colorado, had a meltdown as he explained the pains it took to make the sugary drink.

“Today, it came out, and I have to inform you, Remember to Do not GET IT,” Burson yelled. “I have hardly ever been so stressed out in my overall everyday living, it has been insane! I have unicorn crap all in my hair and on my nose. If you adore us, as baristas, Do not Buy IT!”

Burson wasn’t completed however. His rant ongoing, pleading with Starbucks customers to order a unique drink.

“It’s so tricky to make!” he said. “And individuals ended up coming in, remaining and correct, drive through and in the front! So, for the adore of God and almost everything that is fantastic: Do not. Get. The. Unicorn. Frappuccino.”

A past push launch from Starbucks describes the frappuccino as remaining “made with a sweet dusting of pink powder, blended into a crème Frappuccino with mango syrup and layered with a pleasantly bitter blue drizzle,” then completed with “vanilla whipped cream and a sprinkle of sweet pink and bitter blue powder topping.”

Burson explained to the Affiliated Push that he didn’t imagine his video would get any publicity and that he didn’t intend to “downgrade” the drink.

“It’s a good drink,” he explained to the AP in a Fb message. “But it is tricky to make when there are like twenty fraps all at when equally front and drive through.”

According to the AP, Starbucks introduced a assertion Thursday saying that the Unicorn Frappuccino had “exceeded everyone’s anticipations.” The outlet reported that is was reaching out to Burson “to discuss about his encounter and how to make it much better.”

Burson isn’t the only Starbucks employee stressed out in excess of the limited version drink. A Reddit page named “Save a Barista” shows a meme that reads, “Save a barista, order an Americano.”
